Slodon, that is one of the most asinine comments I've ever read. What does humanity being ignorant of an animal thriving in a remote area of the planet have to do with humanity also pumping green house gasses into the air? So by your logic, the two can't happen at the same time? Why?

Nothing gets done because one party is hellbent on blocking the other. We need to move one direction or the other, forcefully with purpose.

I try not to look at them, but man, these numbers are incredible. How can you not look at history unfolding, day by day?

I think most of the world, friend and foe, wants someone sane in the White House. The planet will be on it's best behavior, trust me.

This is simply crushing. Nobody, and I mean nobody, helped me understand the political landscape better than Mr. Russert. He would've absolutely loved to have been around for the 2008 Election and I would've enjoyed every second of watching him having a good time with it.
